irix build and other news
After a marathon of writing I finished the documentation part of my semestral project before new year's eve. Snapshots page has in pdf what's already written: some introductory chapters and a walk through hallo-world frontend. I still want to tidy the hallo-world a bit before announcing on gcc's ML, but didn't get around yet. Examination period is climaxing, and I was ill whole last week. This last thing seriously sucks, because I missed two exams and a Bang! party.
I'm about ok now, so I got around to start up my SGI, and invested some hours into preparing expect and dejagnu packages for nekochan distribution. With these in hand, it's finally possible to run a gcc's testsuite. And it works! Yay!
Native configuration is mips-sgi-irix6.5

Algol parser is getting gradually more full-featured. Maybe at the end of January, or failing that, sometime in February, I'll produce Milestone 3, which should be full featured Algol frontend modulo functions and maybe own. I'll leave the rest of semester for functions, crosscompilation, bootstrapping, and related fun.
